Since 2006, the Kingston family—Chrissy and Rick—have opened their hearts and their beautiful home to Florida's cats requiring the highest levels of love and attention. 

Puffy Paws isn’t a traditional shelter; it is a dedicated medical hospice haven and lifelong haven  for kitties that require specialized, continuous care.

Spanning two custom-built, free-roaming buildings over 3,600 square feet, our sanctuary is designed entirely to cater to each cat's unique physical, behavioral, and medical needs.

 Inside The Haven

The Haven is built entirely to handle the different medical and behavioral needs of our kitties by giving them their own specialized, free-roaming spaces.

• The Haven Home (2,700 sq ft): Our main building where our healthy adoptable kitties live, and a permanent home for residents with long-term physical or emotional challenges.
• The 2nd Chance Room (400 sq ft): A dedicated zone in our second building built just for our kitten population and other kitties managing serious health or behavioral problems.
• The Hospitality Room (400 sq ft): The other half of our second building, where friends and supporters can come hang out and relax with the felines over a cup of coffee or a cold soda.

 Our dedicated facility provides specialized, 24/7 care for:
